Egypt's foreign minister Sameh Shukri denied today any thinking of his country to militarily intervene, reportedly in cooperation with Algeria, to face armed groups in Libya. In a press conference here with Tunisia's Prime Minister Mahdi Jumaa, Shukri said there is no any talk in the current time about any kind of Egyptian forces intervention in the Libyan territory. However, he considered the convening of Libya's National Assembly today a positive sign of the return of political institutions to operate for the restoration of stability to the country, noting that, instead, there is cooperation and security coordination among Libya's neighboring countries, including Tunisia, Algeria and Niger.
