Al-Azhar Calls for Reactivation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Initiative to Establish International Counter-Terrorism Center

Cairo-based Al-Azhar called for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's initiative related to establishing International Counter-Terrorism Center, in all forms and sorts, to be revamped.
In a statement announced here today, Al-Azhar expressed utmost appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' call for the leaders as well as the scholars of the Islamic nation to shoulder their responsibilities, during this critical moments facing the Arab and Islamic nations, alike, to confront those who are trying to kidnap Islam and to deviate its exalt message and noble objectives.
It also condemned bloodshed and crimes against humanity in Palestine.
