Based on moon eye-sighting by a number of witnesses throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Royal Court announced this evening that tomorrow Monday is the first of the several-day blessed Eid Al-Fitr. A statement by the Royal Court said that the Higher Court, after having verified a number of evidence from adult witnesses from different parts of the country, who reported that they have eye-sighted the new moon of the month of Shawal 1435 H., decided in a meeting at its headquarters in the city of Taif that today is the last day of the holy month of Ramadan 1435 H. and tomorrow (Monday) corresponding to July 28, 2014 falls as the first of the several-day blessed Eid Al-Fitr. On this occasion, the Higher Court extends congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, his Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince as well as the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all nationals of the Islamic nation on the advent of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, appealing to Allah Almighty to accept their fasting and worshipping during Ramadan and have them come to unity and enjoy good days. Availing itself of this occasion, the Ministry of Culture and Information and the Saudi Press Agency have forwarded to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense; Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Second Deputy Premier, Advisor to and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; the noble Royal Family; as well as the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all the nationals of the Islamic nation congratulations on the advent of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, appealing to Allah Almighty to repeat this blessed occasion year and year with the Kingdom and its leadership and citizens as well as the Islamic and Arab nations enjoying security, stability and prosperity.
