His Highness Mr. Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Saeed, Deputy Premier for Cabinet's Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, received at the Cabinet's headquarters in Muscat this evening Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier, Advisor to and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. At the outset of the reception, the Deputy Crown Prince conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed of the Sultanate of Oman and to His Highness, wishing them good health and happiness and the people of Oman steady progress and prosperity. For his part, His Highness Mr. Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Saeed sent the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed of Oman and his own greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, wishing them good health and happiness and the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia steady progress and prosperity. His Highness Mr. Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Saeed welcomed His Royal Highness the Deputy Crown Prince, expressing his gratitude of the historic deep-rooted relations binding the two sisterly countries and paid tribute to the cooperation and joint coordination between them, including the steady progress and development benefiting the mutual interests of the two countries and peoples. During the meeting, and upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed of the Sultanate of Oman, aspects of cooperation between the two sisterly countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields in addition to the progress of the GCC joint march as well as the efforts being exerted to achieve the aspirations of the leaders and peoples of the GCC countries were discussed and the overall incidents and developments at the regional and international arenas and the positions of the two sisterly countries towards them were reviewed. The reception was attended by Yousif bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister in charge for Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Al-Fadhl bin Mohammed Al-Harthi, Secretary General of the Cabinet; Mr. Saud bin Hilal Al-Busaeedi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat; and Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
