At least 16 people were killed in clashes between
militias and army forces in Libya's eastern city of
Benghazi, dpa cited the independent Libyan news site Al-Wasat as reporting Tuesday.
Clashes began Monday between the army and the militias. They followed fighting in the Libyan capital for a week between rival militias for control of Tripoli International Airport.
