Chinese President Xi Jinping declared a new dawn for relations with Argentina during his state visit on the weekend, dpa reported. Xi arrived in Buenos Aires after attending the BRICS summit of major emerging markets in Brazil, as he pursues stronger trade relations. "Our nations are at an historic starting point," he said. "We have completed 10 years of strategic association between Argentina and China, and it is time to advance toward new horizons." Xi and Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner witnessed the signing of agreements on energy, transport, investment and currency exchange.
