US Vice President Joe Biden says the downing of an airliner that crashed in Ukraine was "not an accident," characterizing it as being "blown out of the sky," broadcaster MSNBC reports. The airplane that crashed along the Ukraine-Russia border was shot down by a surface-to-air missile, a US intelligence official tells the Washington Post. The unnamed official says US analysts were working to determine who fired the missile.
