The United States condemned an attack by the Taliban on the Kabul airport earlier Thursday but said such incidents have not impacted efforts to determine the victor of the country's presidential election. "We condemn in the strongest terms the Taliban attack on facilities at Kabul International Airport early this morning," US State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters. "The process of moving forward on the [election] audit has started today. That's proceeding. That will increase ... in the coming days, and there hasn't been an impact, that I'm aware of, of these incidents on that," Psaki said.
