Palestinian president arrives in Cairo for talks on Gaza

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has arrived in Cairo for talks on an Egyptian proposal to establish a ceasefire between the Hamas group and Israel.
During his two-day visit, Abbas will meet with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sissi, Palestinian sources in Cairo say.
After Egypt, Abbas will visit Turkey.
