More bodies were recovered from the rubble of a collapsed building in India's southern city of Chennai, taking the death toll to 55 as rescue operations continued Thursday, dpa reported. The unfinished 11-storey building caved in on Saturday, trapping mostly construction workers. "Twelve more bodies were recovered in operations since Wednesday evening," said V Thankaraju, a government spokesman at the site. Five people including the building contractor have been arrested and charged with criminal negligence.
