Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier, Advisor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, received at his palace here today the Founder of Microsoft Corporation and Co-chairman of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Mr. Bill Gates and senior officials of the Foundation. The Prince welcomed them, wishing them a pleasant stay in the Kingdom. During the meeting, Mr. Gates briefed Prince Muqrin on the most important works being carried out by the Foundation around the world and its charitable works in a number of poor and needy countries. He commended the leading role being played by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards international charitable foundations and organizations, in addition to providing many urgent humanitarian assistance to the affected people in a number of countries around the world.
