Small Plane Collides with Fighter Jet over Western Germany

A small airplane with two passengers on board collided with a German air force fighter jet, police in the western region of Sauerland said Monday.
The Lear jet crashed after the collision, but the fighter jet was able to land at a military base near Cologne, dpa quoted a police spokeswoman as saying.
The small plane crashed in an uninhabited area.
