Eurozone finance ministers were due Thursday to discuss Greece's progress in meeting the conditions for its next bailout tranche, during talks in Luxembourg that risked being overshadowed by a fresh row over the bloc's economic rules. According to dpa, Athens was tasked with reaching six milestones by the end of May - followed by a further six in June - which will each trigger the release of 1 billion euros (1.36 billion dollars) from its 240-billion-euro international bailout. But Greece's creditors are "still waiting for the completion of the milestones planned for the end of May," an EU official said on condition of anonymity. Cash-strapped Athens, which depends on bailout payments to stay afloat, has repeatedly failed to stick to its reform timetable. Many of the measures are deeply unpopular with voters.
