Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker and Head of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union Marzouq Al-Ghanim, heading a parliamentary delegation, left for Lebanon today to visit a number of Syrian refugee camps there. The inspecting visit comes upon invitations from the MENA regional office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, KUNA reported. During the three-day visit, Al-Ghanim will visit the refugee camps, meet representatives of humanitarian organizations and officials to get acquainted with the situation of the refugees, the services provided to them as well as their needs. Al-Ghanim will also hold talks with Lebanese counterpart Berri on a wide array of issues including bilateral relations and developments in Lebanon and the region.
