Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, discussed during a telephone call with Russia's counterpart Sergei Lavrov ways of settling the Syrian crisis and other hot issues of the region, ITAR TASS news agency quoted a Russian foreign ministry statement as saying. During the conversation, they discussed a number of urgent issues in the region and the world at large and paid special attention to political and diplomatic settlement of the Syrian crisis, the statement said. On the Saudi Russian relations, the two sides confirmed activating and promoting them, including commercial, economic and energy fields.
