The Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI) disclosed that the value of Saudi non-oil commodity exports in the month of April 2014 amounted to (18,071) Saudi million riyals, up by 0.4% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, while the value of imports dropped 5% to (54,360) million riyals. In its monthly statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the CDSI showed that the ratio of non-oil exports amounted to (33,24%) of the total value of imports during this period, led by chemical products. The value of exports of chemical industry products amounted to (6097) million representing 33,74% of the total value of non-petroleum exports, and the plastics and rubber products ranked second with a value of (5,716) million riyals by 31,63%, while transport equipment and parts thereof occupied third place with a value of (1692) million riyals by 9,36% of the total value of exports. --More 13:55 LOCAL TIME 10:55 GMT تغريد
