A 6.1-magnitude earthquake hit a county in southwest China's Yunnan Province at 9:20 a.m. Beijing Time Friday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center. The epicenter was in Yingjiang County, the Dai-Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture of Dehong. It was measured at 25 degrees north latitude and 97.8 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 12 km, Xinhua quoted the center as saying.
