Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority has received a cable of thanks from United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres in the European headquarters in Geneva. He expressed his appreciation of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, headed by the Prince, for its support to save the lives of Syrian refugees in Lebanon through the assistance provided to them which has enabled thousands of families of refugees to purchase fuel for the past winter. Guterres stressed that the support of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Syrian refugees on an ongoing basis through the Saudi Red Crescent Authority is considered one of the Kingdom's humanitarian activities, noting that the Authority has offered such relief assistance in the affected areas.
