A wildfire in a remote part of Arizona has burned more than 30 square kilometres and was about 5 per cent contained early Saturday, dpa cited state fire officials as saying. About 900 firefighters were battling the blaze, dubbed the Slide fire, near Rock Slide State Park, about 40 kilometres south of Flagstaff, threatening about 300 homes and business and leading to evacuations, according to local media reports. Weather conditions were helpful, with lighter winds, cooler temperatures and higher humidity. Officials determined the fire, which started Tuesday, was human-caused, and the case is under investigation. No injuries have been reported
