The latest round of negotiations on the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade pact ended Tuesday without an agreement, but with plans for more bilateral talks in the coming weeks, dpa reported. Trade ministers who participated in a two-day meeting in Singapore said they had decided on a "pathway of intensified engagement" on market access and rules. Those talks will take place bilaterally and tackle the most challenging outstanding issues, they said in a joint statement. Chief negotiators and their teams are very focused on making progress, US Trade Representative Michael Froman said in a conference call from Singapore. -- SPA 19:46 LOCAL TIME 16:46 GMT تغريد
