King Juan Carlos of the Kingdom of Spain received at his residence here today, members of the Spanish company implementing the project of Al-Haramain High Speed Railway, in the presence of Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, the Saudi Ambassador to Spain; Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, and President of Saudi Railways Organization Engineer Mohammed bin Khalid Al-Suwaiket. The King of Spain was briefed on a replica of the train and a documentary film on the details of the project. Following the audience, Al-Suwaiket said that Al-Haramain High Speed Rail Project, which is being implemented in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and connects 400 kilometers area from Makkah with a speed of 300 kilometers per hour via electrical system, is considered as one of the most important projects in the world being carried out by the Spanish companies.
