The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued today the following royal order upon to what have been submitted by the Minister of Defense: First: Sending General Hussain bin Abdullah bin Hussain Al-Qubail (Chief of General Staff) to the retirement. Second: Promoting Lieutenant General Abdurrahman bin Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan (Deputy Chief of General Staff) to General, appointing him as Chief of General Staff. Third: Appointing Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamid bin Raqed Al-Ruwaili (Commander of the Air Forces) as Deputy Chief of General Staff. Fourth: Promoting Lieutenant General Pilot Mohammed bin Ahmad bin Abdurrahman Al-Shallan (Deputy Commander of the Air Forces) to General, appointing him as Commander of the Air Forces. Fifth: Sending Lieutenant General Dhakhilallah bin Ahmad bin Mohammed Al-Waqdani (Commander of the Naval Forces) to the retirement. Sixth: Promoting Major General Abdullah bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Sultan (Deputy Commander of the Naval Forces) to Lieutenant General, appointing him as Commander of the Naval Forces. Seventh: Instructing the Minister of Defense to carry out this royal order.
