Brazilian football president warns against violence during World Cup

The president of the Brazilian Football Confederation, Jose Maria Marin, said Thursday he will not accept violent protests during the World Cup next month, dpa reported.
Protests are a normal part of public life in most countries, Marin aid, but violence and aggression must be rejected.
"A protest within the rule of law and citizens is within the any normal democratic country, " Marin told dpa in Miami, where the
Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) and the Southamerican Football Confederation
(Conmebol) introduced the Copa America in 2016.
