Atletico Madrid reached their first Champions League final in 40 years on Wednesday with a 3-1 victory over Chelsea, dpa reported. After a goalless draw in the first leg, Chelsea went ahead on aggregate after 36 minutes through Fernando Torres, but Adrian Lopez leveled eight minutes later. A Diego Costa penalty after 59 minutes put Atletico 2-1 up and Arda Turan sealed the victory with 18 minutes remaining. Atletico Madrid will play the finals in Lisbon on May 24 against Real Madrid which yesterday eliminated champion Byron Munich.
