The U.S. Coast Guard is scouring waters between the Bahamas and South Florida for a man who has gone missing from a cruise ship. Guard spokeswoman Sabrina Laberdesque says search and rescue crews are trying to find a cruise ship passenger who apparently went overboard early Sunday in waters some 27 miles (43 kilometers) east of Florida's Delray Beach. The man was reported missing from a Bahamas Celebration ship early Sunday as it was returning to its home port in Florida. The vessel had departed the island of Grand Bahama on Saturday evening, AP reported. Laberdesque says there is no additional information about the disappearance. The person's identity has not been released.
