Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met in Sanaa today Saudi chargé d'affaires in Yemen Dr. Hazza Al-Mutairi. During the meeting, they discussed the final preparations under way for the seventh ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends of Yemen in London in April 29 as well as proposals on mechanism for activating the group meetings more effectively to respond to the requirements of the next stage especially after the successful completion of the national dialogue conference. Al-Qirbi praised the efforts made by the co-presidency (The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Britain) in the preparation and organization of the London meeting, stressing that the meeting is gaining great importance especially as it will see the adoption of the new mechanism for the development of the group's work in the future which would strengthen support for Yemen in various fields.
