The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has won the Cultural Personality Award of the Year 2014 awarded by Sheikh Zayed Book Prize. This was announced by Secretary General of the award Dr. Ali bin Tamim during a press conference held today at the Emirates Palace in the UAE capital of Abu Dhabi. Head of the Department of Transport and President of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Tourism and Culture Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan commended the winning by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of this award, saying that the winning is a pride and medal for the Prize. He stressed that the Monarch's exceptional personality affected an entire era; that his humanitarian and cultural achievements were recorded in letters of light; and that his contributions to the world are still a source of constant inspiration and example for all Arab and Islamic peoples.
