Exports of crude oil were set to resume soon at one of two Libyan oil terminals recovered from rebels after a months-long stand-off, authorities said on Thursday, according to dpa. The National Oil Co said in a statement it had lifted a "state of force majeure" from the port of al-Hariga after official notification that the terminal is now under the control of government security forces. According to Libya media, the government regained control of the eastern ports of al-Hariga and Zueitina after reaching an agreement with federalist rebels on Sunday. Both ports have an estimated combined daily capacity of 210,000 barrels per day. The National Oil Co did not mention any immediate plan for Zueitina. Two more terminals, seized by rebels last summer, are to be handed over to the government in two to four weeks, according to media reports. Under the deal, the government has promised investigations into alleged financial and administrative irregularities in the oil sector. It also promised to stop any legal action against those involved in besieging the four terminals. -- SPA 21:40 LOCAL TIME 18:40 GMT تغريد
