The Saudi Embassy to the United States of America opened at its headquarters in Washington yesterday until Friday a record to pledge allegiance to Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as Deputy Crown Prince. In his own name and on behalf of the employees of the embassy, its consulates, affiliated offices and Saudi citizens studying or being medically treated in the United States of America, Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir opened the record expressing his congratulations and allegiance-pledge to Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince and Second Deputy Premier. The Ambassador said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), "The selection of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the support of Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense for Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Deputy Crown Prince comes within the framework of the Islamic Sharia, on which the Kingdom has been founded since its Founder Late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, considering it as an additional block in support of the foundations of the security and stability enjoyed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in continuation of the achievements for the prosperity of its people under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince.
