The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi met here today with Member of Swiss Federal Council and Chief of Federal Department of Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications Doris Leuthard and her accompanying delegation currently on a visit to the Kingdom. During the meeting, they reviewed the situation of the international oil market and the importance of its continuing stability, the Kingdom's major role in this regard, and bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom and Switzerland in the fields of petroleum, energy and ways of enhancing them, including promotion of joint investments between the two countries. The meeting was attended by Advisor to the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muhanna, the Director General of Special Office of the Minister Ali Al-Tuwairqi, the Kingdom's Governor to the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Dr. Mohammed Al-Madhy, Swiss Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Peter Reinhardt, and the delegation accompanying the minister.
