Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, Saudi ambassador to the Kingdom of Jordan, has received an Honorary Shield to Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who is also the General Supervisor of the Saudi relief committees and campaigns, presented to him by a delegation of the Syrian Tribes Council in Jordan, led by Sheikh Ali Mazdood Al-Jassem, Chairman of the Council, it was reported in Riyadh today. The event took place as the ambassador was making an inspection tour of the 14th station of the Saudi Relief Campaign on Sunday to distribute relief items on Syrian refugees in Shurahbeel bin Husna municipality of the Jordanian Northern Aghwar brigade in Al-Kareema region. Al-Jassem expressed thanks to the Saudi leadership for their efforts to support Syrian brethren directly supervised by the minister of interior under instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Another honorary shield was given away to the ambassador in recognition of his efforts in this regard.
