Sidqi Subhi is Egypt's New Defense Minister

The chief of staff of Egypt's army General Sidqi Subhi is to succeed Abdel-Fattah Al-Sissi as commander in chief of the armed forces.
According to dpa, Subhi, who served as al-Sissi's deputy, was also appointed defense minister by interim President Adly Mansour, armed forces spokesman Colonel Ahmed Ali said.
