President Barack Obama said the U.S. commitment to Japan's and South Korea's security is unwavering and that a nuclear-armed North Korea is unacceptable, AP reported. Obama commented at the top of a three-way meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and South Korean President Park Geun-Hye. It's the first meeting between Abe and Park since they took office more than a year ago. Frosty relations between the two American allies have worried the U.S. Obama said all three countries are concerned about North Korea's nuclear weapons program. He said their cooperation has sent a strong signal that North Korea's threats and provocations will be answered with a unified response. Obama said they'll discuss ways to deepen their coordination.
