In its 12th station in a row, the Saudi national campaign to support the Syrian brethren has started to distribute what it termed as "Winter Dress" over Syrian refugees in Jordan's eastern regions. The campaign has given away since last Saturday its assistance items over 1100 families consisting nearly 5500 persons. Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, the Saudi ambassador to Jordan has supervised the mechanism of distributing the assistance which consisted of blankets, foodstuffs, dates, winter dresses and different supplies. In the eastern regions of Jordan, people in Horan valley, Arbed, Al-Ramth, Erbed, Jarash, Ajloon, Madba, Maan province, Al-Aqaba, Al-Tufailah, Al-Mafraq, Al-Khalidya, Al-Mabrookah, Al-Zarqaa in addition to some 40,000 families in Al-Zaatari camp received the Saudi relief items. In this regard, recipients have expressed thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, government and people for this humanitarian support. For his part, Dr. Badr bin Abdulrahman Al-Samhan, the Regional Director of the campaign said the 13th station will start on Wednesday to continue the work going on in the eastern parts of Jordan, particularly the regions of Omrah, Omairah, Um-Al-Jamal, and Rawdat Al-Ameerah Basmah.
