King Abdullah II of Jordan discussed with his guest the President of the Republic of Chechen Ramadan Gadirov in Amman today bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of mutual concern. According to a press release issued in Amman by the royal court the Jordanian monarch confirmed his country's keenness to enhance and boost cooperation with the Republic of Chechen in different fields, particularly the economic and cultural fields. The meeting also discussed efforts to bring about peace in the Middle East and reviewed the regional developments and issues of concern to the Islamic world. For his part, President Gadirov confirmed the keenness of his country to maintain the ties of cooperation with Jordan in all fields. The Chechen President arrived in Amman earlier today for a several day visit.
