U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns received at the State Department today Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the framework of his current visit to the United States of America. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest between the two countries. For his part, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz has received at his guest residence in Washington the Director General of U.S. National Security Agency Lieutenant General Keith B. Alexander and Director of U.S. National Intelligence James R. Clapper. The meetings were attended by Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir. The Prince has attended a dinner party held in his honor by Ambassador Al-Jubeir on the occasion of his visit to the United States of America. The party was attended by ambassadors accredited to the United States of America; members of the diplomatic corps; and a number of officials in the U.S. Administration.
