Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in Beijing on a state visit to China since yesterday, held talks with China's Prime Minister Li Keqiang at the State's Council presidential palace in the Chinese capital of Beijing today. At the outset of the meeting, the Chinese Premier welcomed the Crown Prince in his current visit to China, noting that the Kingdom is considered China's largest trade partner in west Asia and Africa. He said he is looking forward to see the Crown Prince's current visit contributing to add a new momentum to relations and cooperation between the Kingdom and China. For his part, the Crown Prince expressed happiness to visit China and confirmed Saudi Arabia's keenness to bolster cooperation between the two countries in all fields to the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples. The Crown Prince also conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to His Excellency, confirming that the Kingdom's policy is calling for peace and stability in the entire world. During the meeting, aspects of current cooperation between the Kingdom and China in what would enhance and develop relations between the two countries in all fields were discussed in addition to the developments of the regional and international situations of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chief of the Crown Prince's Court and Special Advisor to the Crown Prince; Eng. Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources; Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, Minister of Finance; Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information; Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabee'a, Minister of Commerce and Industry; Dr. Nizar bin Obeid Madani, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; General Abdulrahman Al-Bunyan, Deputy Chief of Staff; Saudi ambassador to China Yahya bin Abdulkarim Al-Zaid and a number of officials of the Chinese government.
