The European Union and the United States began their fourth round of talks Monday on a landmark free trade deal, dpa reported. The Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership (TTIP) would create the world's largest free-trade area, with the goal of spurring much-needed growth and jobs. "We are going to be now discussing much more intensively market access," said an EU source, highlighting the issue of tariffs, but also the question of opening up the services market and improving investment opportunities. The current round of talks is due to last until Friday and will also include meetings with business, labour, environmental and consumer groups. The TTIP negotiations are not expected to conclude before 2015.
