Upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for providing financial assistance to Hamdard University's projects in India with $5 million, Dr. Suleiman bin Abdullah Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University, signed on last Wednesday with the Rector of Hamdard University a memorandum of understanding with Hamdard University in New Delhi in presence of Saudi ambassador to India Dr. Saud bin Mohammed Al-Sati. The MoU aims to enhance fields of cooperation between the two universities. The Royal support includes providing financial assistance for the Hamdard University's projects with $5 million, $4 million for establishing a headquarters of the college of medicine at the Indian university where the building will be a milestone at the university and bears the name "Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz College for Medicine" and $1 million for expansion's projects at the university.
