Barcelona's appalling away form continued Saturday with a 1-0 defeat at lowly Valladolid, according to dpa. Their fourth defeat of the season left second-placed Barca one point behind league leaders Real Madrid, who host midtable Levante Sunday. The only goal came in the 17th minute when Italian midfielder Fausto Rossi broke the deadlock by putting away the rebound after a melee in the shaky Barca defence. The surprise win took Valladolid up to fourth from bottom. Later Saturday, bottom team Real Betis beat Getafe 2-0 at home, with goals from Leo Baptistao and Ruben Castro. Betis are still five points adrift at the bottom. Getafe - who have not won for 12 games - are sixth from bottom, with coach Luis Garcia in grave danger of losing his job.
