Mozambican Prime Minister Alberto Vaquina says attacks by the opposition party and former rebel movement Renamo have displaced more than 6,000 people in the central parts of the country. According to AP, Vaquina told the Mozambican parliament Friday that armed attacks by Renamo have displaced 6,727 people in the central Gorongosa district alone.
