Lawmakers in Ukraine's Crimea peninsula on Thursday voted to dismiss the local government, with the decision backed by 55 of the 64 deputies, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reported, according to dpa. The deputies also voted to dismiss Crimean prime minister Anatolii Mohyliov, the report said, citing a parliamentary spokeswoman. Earlier Thursday, the Crimean parliament was occupied by an armed pro-Russian militia.
