Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has sent a cable of thanks to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the end of his visit to the Empire of Japan. The Crown Prince said in his cable, "I am pleased upon my departure after visiting your friendly country at your invitation to express my thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to me and the accompanying delegation. This visit has allowed me to meet you and discuss matters of common concern. I commend your keenness on continuing constructive cooperation and partnership between the two countries in the interest of the two friendly peoples, confirming the depth of relations between our two countries under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and your Excellency. I wish you constant good health and happiness and your friendly country continuing progress and prosperity."
