Malaysia's central bank said the economy grew a faster-than-expected 5.1 percent in the fourth quarter of last year, AP reported. Growth for the full year was 4.7 percent. Bank Negara Malaysia says fourth quarter growth was underpinned by strong expansions in manufacturing and services, helping to exceed forecasts of 4.8 percent growth. The economy expanded 5.6 percent in 2012. It said that growth momentum will remain on a "steady trajectory."
