Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local, regional and international issues. Locally, Albilad newspaper highlighted the condemnation of the Council of Ministers in its meeting chaired by the Crown Prince yesterday of the decision of the Israeli occupation authorities to ratify the plan to build 558 new housing units in East Alquds. The newspaper said this condemnation confirms the firm position of the kingdom toward the first central Arab issue and the need to respond to repeated attempts by the occupation state to block any move aimed at achieving just and comprehensive peace that meets the aspirations of our Palestinian brothers and the withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories. It explained that the positions and support of the kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the Palestinian issue are based on the kingdom's responsibility and the fundamentals of its policy adding that they enjoy all the appreciation of the Palestinian presidency and people, in addition to honoring all its commitments in accordance with the decisions of the Arab summits including support for Alquds and Al-Aqsa funds and the implementation of a large number of projects under the management of the Administrative Committee of the two funds in Alquds and other Palestinian cities and in the Diaspora and the fulfillment of its share in the financial safety net and providing additional support by an initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. --More 10:36 LOCAL TIME 07:36 GMT تغريد
