Efforts to reunify the divided Mediterranean island of Cyprus will resume on Tuesday after Greek and Turkish Cypriot leaders agreed to a new round of peace talks over the weekend, dpa reported. Greek Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu on Saturday agreed to a new roadmap for the negotations, outlined in a joint statement to be read out at the resumption of talks. The meeting between the two leaders will take place at a UN compound located in the buffer zone of the island's divided capital city, Nicosia, on Tuesday at 1030 GMT.
