An official source stated to the Saudi Press Agency that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was briefed on statements printed in the Jordanian Newspaper "Al-Ghad" and attributed to Ahmed Qurei, member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), in which he pointed to the failure of the Arab states in meeting their obligations of supporting Al-Quds Fund with $1 billion as was approved by Arab summits. Within the framework of the Kingdom's continuous support to the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people and its commitment to the decisions of Arab summits, the source emphasized that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has paid its full share of $320 million towards the capital of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Funds, as these two were approved in the 2000 Cairo Summit with a total capital of $1 billion.
