Au-Prince, Rabi'I 29, 1435, Jan 30, 2014, SPA -- Haitian police say a small plane piloted by a U.S. citizen suffered mechanical problems and made an emergency landing in a field of bananas Haiti. According to AP, police inspector Joachin Antoine says pilot Practor Antoine was treated for unspecified injuries at a hospital in the capital. A passenger named John Michael was not injured. Antoine says that the aircraft went down Wednesday night just outside Cabaret, a coastal town northwest of Port-au-Prince. Public records identify the plane as a Cessna Super Skymaster. It had left Pompano Beach Airpark in Broward County, Fla., Wednesday morning and landed in the northern city of Cap-Haitien.
