Saudi-Tanzanian youth delegation visited today the protected Serengeti National Park, northwest of the Federal Republic of Tanzania, which is famous for the annual migrations of millions of different wild animales. Adviser to President of Saudi Wildlife Commission (SWC) and scientific supervisor in the activities of the Saudi-Tanzanian youth dialogue forum, Dr. Yusuf bin Saleh Al-Hafiz said that during its visit to Serengeti, the young delegation got acknowledged to the ecological balance of the wild beasts and plants with their rare types, noting that the Saudi youth delegation was briefed on the Tanzanian experience in the field of the protection of wildlife. It is worth mentioning that Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value. With more than two million wild animals, half a million Thomson's gazelle, and a quarter of a million zebra, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. It is also UNESCO World Heritage Site in Tanzania.
