A police official says suspected extremists have killed a teacher in a northeast Nigerian village. According to AP, Borno state police commissioner Lawan Tanko said Wednesday that Boko Haram suspects tracked a man to his house in Wulgo late Monday, killed him and injured another man who remains in the hospital. Wulgo village is near Nigeria's border with Cameroon. A local teacher and a security personnel said the men both were secondary school teachers. Both spoke on condition of anonymity, the teacher for security reasons and the security personnel because he was not permitted to speak to the press.
